Lawn care
Metroscapes is a lawn care specialist. We provide a comprehensive range of lawn maintenance services to our customers which includes seasonal grass cutting using professional specification ride-on and pedestrian cylinder and rotary mowers and specialist seasonal lawn treatments such as aeration, scarification and top dressing, which optimise grass health and appearance.
Grounds maintenance
Metroscapes provides high quality direct and sub-contracted grounds maintenance services to a growing portfolio of customers. Our clients include prestigious public spaces and government buildings, residential developments, offices, schools and cultural and retail venues. Our expertise is also available to domestic customers with large gardens and grounds. Metroscapes operates in London, Surrey and Berkshire.
Hedge cutting and trimming
Linear and level formal hedges frame well-groomed grounds and gardens. Our experts have years' of experience in all aspects of hedge care from clipping and cutting to planting new formal and informal hedging. We know when and how to cut the many different species of hedging plants to keep them looking their best. We also adhere to RSPB guidance not to cut during bird nesting season between March and October. Metroscapes is a professional member of the European Boxwood and Topiary Society.
Sports turf care and pitch marking
Metroscapes is an experienced provider of sports pitch maintenance and marking services. We can provide precision pitch cutting for football, rugby and cricket and tennis clubs and schools. We can also install and overmark sports pitch line markings throughout the season. We also offer a full spectrum of pitch care treatments to keep playing surfaces in first class condition.
Planting and meadows
Metroscapes can provide a complete range of planting services for a large variety of settings. We have created pictorial and pollinator-friendly meadows and gardens at public spaces as well as seasonal displays and special works for major public events. We know what plants will work best for each location and how to best care for them to keep the looking vigorous and vibrant.
Expertise
Metroscapes staff are Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)-trained and qualified gardeners or work under their supervision and guidance. All of our work is carried out to RHS standard. Team members also have specialist qualifications including NCTP Pa1 and Pa6 - which is a legal requirement to safely spray herbicide for weed control. We are fully insured and health and safety compliant.

Metroscapes is owned an operated by director Greg Truscott. Westcountry-born Greg is an RHS-qualified gardener and experienced groundsman who studied at the renowned Capel Manor and Writtle horticultural colleges. A life-long lover of nature and the outdoors, Greg worked as a gardener in the Royal Parks, a horticulture instructor for a local authority, and as a gardener/groundsman at the Parliamentary Estate, before establishing Metroscapes in 2015. From humble beginnings, Metroscapes has since grown to provide direct and sub-contracted horticultural services to the Houses of Parliament, Ministry of Defence and English Heritage, along with private residential developments, schools and the retail sector.
